We looked at different type of bands that we could use for our music video, majority of the bands we chose were around the alternative rock, pop and punk genre. We also looked at the possible fashion styles that will be suitable to our chosen genre, this gave us a brief idea on what costumes should be worn by the band in our music video.

I have done a poster analysis of an official band called Hey Monday, I was able to identify the purpose of the codes and conventions used on the poster. The genre Rock/Pop can be indicated from the fonts,theme, colours,costumes and image used on the poster
